AN AMAZING ADVENTURE

IN THE WINTER OF 2000, while residing on the Big Island of Hawaii, I had an extraordinary encounter that pushed me beyond my familiar limits. This pivotal moment happened during one of many swims with wild dolphins, plunging me into a state of profound peace akin to deep meditation, a state that enveloped me for about three months.
AT THIS TIME, I WAS SPONTANEOUSLY GUIDED BY A VOICE, I CALL GOD, AND MY WHOLE BEING WAS FILLED WITH LOVE. I was guided to create a series of images called "Awakening Images". The voice resonated in my mind as clearly as if someone was physically present and continues to this day with every sculpture that is designed.
EVERY SCULPTURE I HAVE CREATED, HAS BEEN DESIGNED AND GUIDED BY THIS LOVING VOICE, I call God, and is specifically designed to radiate positivity. Whether it's a person, a place, or the entire planet, the aim is to infuse more positive energy into it. This journey has been nothing short of transformative, grounding me in a reality that's as fascinating as it is mysterious and continues to this day.
Perhaps you've notice the vibrant "JOY" sign or the uplifting "You are Magnificent" bumper stickers. I did not design these and sometimes I don't feel joyful or magnificent but again these were deliberately designed by God and I was asked to both place them on my vehicle and share the bumper stickers with others. The intention is to remind us of our inherent worth and the potential for joy in our lives and in the world. The original JOY design, with its tagline "Joyful Possibilities: Create the World You Imagine" may appear simple at first glance. However, each color and shape has been meticulously placed to generate a subtle, positive energy. "Joyful Possibilities" is one of the original nineteen images called "Awakening Images".
In my early 30's, I was an Ironman triathlete and aerobics instructor living in Hawaii. My initial plan was to import beautiful sportswear and clothing from Hawaii to Marblehead, Massachusetts, where I had decided to move back to, however, God had other plans for me.
THROUGH MY OWN HEALING JOURNEY, I HAVE HAD THE EXPERIENCE OF MANY MIND/BODY HEALING MODALITIES. I believe this has made me a perfect vessel for art that is both vibrational and intentional in nature.
Upon returning to Massachusetts at the age of thirty, I continued to teach aerobics classes where some attendees discovered my professional background. In Hawaii I specialized in mind/body modalities in a children's hospital. This led to the unexpected establishment of a private practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, later I began channeling and life coaching sessions as they were much more beneficial. I continue seeing clients for channeled coaching to enhance their mind/body/spirit well-being and to live a life that is aligned with each persons MAGNIFICENCE!
INSPIRED BY THE POSITIVE AND POWERFUL ENERGY OF COLOR AND COLOR HEALING. In my early thirties I was also gifted a session with a woman who worked with a color system that was created by a podiatrist who was blind! I was so drawn to this color system that focused on balancing mind/body/spirit, and based on love and acknowledging the gifts inherent in each of us that I became a practitioner and teacher and for many years taught classes and offered sessions. The colors were so enjoyed and helpful for people that I offered sessions in medical centers where I was a massage therapist and yoga instructor.
STAINED GLASS INTRODUCTION!!! In my early 50's, a friend who shared my knowledge of color proposed an intriguing idea: creating stained glass earrings that embodied the positive aspects of color. She offered to teach me the craft, and soon we found ourselves showcasing our creations at craft fairs.
The journey from crafting earrings to creating outdoor sculptures remains a mystery to me. Yet the fusion of color, light and nature in these sculptures fills me with joy. The sculptures feel like an integration of all I have learned about color, energy, healing and created in a unique way through God's guidance.
WHAT MAKES MARBLEHEAD GLASS SCULPTURES EXTRAORDINARY. The technique is different from traditional stained glass designs, there is never a pre drawn plan or pattern, and they are outdoor sculptures that can endure all seasons, but what truly makes them extraordinary is I am often awoken in the middle of the night or gently interrupted while I'm at home doing something completely different, when I am asked by God if I would go into my studio to create a sculpture. It is here that I am guided how to specifically put the glass pieces together to accomplish the design and energy of the sculpture intended. First I am guided to the size of the sculpture then out of 100's if not 1000's of sheets of glass I am guided to a particular one, then told exactly how to cut it, both size and shape, and then guided exactly where to place it. After that piece is placed, the process continues being guided to a particular sheet of glass and then the size and shape. From the first sculpture I created, I have been the hands that craft the sculptures but every single design and intention for the sculpture has been guided by God. At the completion of the sculpture a description and title are often dictated to me.
HOW CAN YOU TRUST THIS PROCESS AND THIS VOICE. Over the past 12 years of co-creating these sculptures the intentions for every sculpture has been to radiate positive energy. While I am creating I am often enveloped in an overwhelming sense of LOVE that fills the room and when the sculpture is being created I can often feel the LOVE that is being infused into the sculpture.
My journey from being a mind/body therapist to creating outdoor glass sculptures has been a testament to the power of embracing unexpected paths and trusting in the guidance of God.
It's a journey that continues to unfold, guided by love, and dedicated to bringing joy, healing and color into the world.
