How Can Copper, Steel, and Cement Sculptures Endure All Seasons?

Sculptures can find their home anywhere, undeterred by the changing seasons. Each sculpture is framed with copper tubing which forms a beautiful patina as it ages and serves as a protective layer for the metal.

Copper is extremely durable. Affixed to the copper are pieces of zinc came, reinforced with steel bars. Depending on the size and design of the sculpture, additional steel bars are incorporated within the sculpture itself to provide even more stabilty and strength. Each individual piece of glass within the sculpture is meticulously cemented both front and back, further contributing to it's longevity.

This resilience is a testament to their allure. For those residing in colder climates, these sculptures offer a vibrant spectacle against the stark white winter. As snow blankets the ground, the glass of the sculptures seems to absorb the chill, radiating an even brighter glow. The colors dance and pop, providing a visual symphony that warms the heart. Such is the transformative power of these sculptures - they turn every location, every season into a canvas of radiant hues.

How Do I Install & Maintain My Sculpture?

Your sculpture needs to be firmly placed in the ground. You can do this naturally or use cement. Once it's in place, it doesn't need much care. If you want, you can clean the glass with any glass cleaner and use steel wool to clean the copper tube.

Easy Installation Steps:

1. The copper tubes of the sculpture should be at least 8 -12 inches deep in the ground. You can do this yourself or hire a landscaper.

2. For a natural installation, use a 3-foot metal rebar or a 2-3 inch wide wooden stake. Hammer it in the ground to make holes for the sculpture.

3. Place the sculpture in the holes and fill them with stones up to the ground level. Hammer the stones in to secure the sculpture. Check if the sculpture moves to ensure it is secure.

**Remember, the copper tubes need to be at least 8 - 12 inches into the ground.

Realistic Forms

Why Do Some Sculptures Have Realistic Forms?

Every so often the soul of a sculpture demands a touch of realism. Consider our creations aimed at honoring our planet. We breathed life into them by sandblasting a dual-colored earth onto high-quality flash glass. Our sculptures featuring whales and dolphins serve as beacons of higher consciousness, radiating the vibrant energies of JOY, WISDOM, and CONNECTION.

We've woven hearts into a few of our sculptures, each one pulsating with the universal rhythm of LOVE. Our latest realistic creation is a dove, a symbol of PEACE and HOPE soaring high.

While I may not be a realistic artist, the majority of my sculptures speak in the language of shape, color, texture, form, and design, resonating energeticcally rather than realistically.

Why Are They Referred to as "Beacons of Light"

We refer to these sculptures as "Beacons of Light" because in their creation they are energetically created to hold a high frequency or energy that emits positive energy. We see these sculptures as symbols of positivity, possibility and blessings. Our intention is that when a sculpture is planted in the ground it energetically or through intention spreads positivity and possibilities for goodness.
